Welcome  to  the  Altar  Guild

The Altar Guild is open to everyone, we are an equal opportunity ministry. Altar Guild members are assigned a team and a worship service: 8:00am, 10:30am or 12:30pm. Teams are committed to only ONE Sunday a month. The team sets up for the 8:00am Sunday service on Saturday, on Sunday morning to set up between the services for the 10:30am service, on Sunday at noon to set up for the 12:30 Hispanic service and to clean up after. An Altar Guild member may also be asked to set up / clean up after special services.

The ministry of the Altar Guild is to the glory of God. It is God’s house and the Lord’s Table that Altar Guild members are asked to prepare and maintain. Through the Altar Guild members’ work, the people will know their church is a holy place, a place where God is honored. It is also a ministry to one another. Members of the Altar Guild are called to care for one another as a community. The work done should be satisfying and joyful.
